Quality Assurance Specialist

Monitors LPS Industries Quality Assurance Programs. Manages customer and supplier compliance requests and requirements. provides technical assistance to Manufacturing, Sales, Customer Service and Research & Development. Assists, when necessary, in inspection of incoming materials or shipping finished goods. Updates and maintains all documents including SOP, Work Instructions reviews and updates regulatory, letter compiling and filing usage of chemicals to the relevant government agencies assists in customer and supplier audits assists QC when needed with testing and documentation and inspection serves as the ISO/SQF Practitioner for the entire SFO/SQF systems as required. Knowledge of statistics, ability to use analytical equipment (FTIR, WVTR, O2, COF)computer literate. Education and Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in QA/QC functions in the converting industry. Working knowledge of ISO, SQF, Safety (MSDS) familiar with GMP. ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE / CREDIT MANAGER

The ideal candidate will: be in charge of all credit & collection functions; establish new customers & review old customers credit limits and payment terms; conduct daily review of credit holds on orders to determine whether they are to be released or not; review LPS’s D&B ratings as well as customers and up-date; oversee that cash is collected within the agreed upon terms; handle all credit card transactions and processing. CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

The ideal candidate will: handle incoming calls per their assigned product group with regard to stock/custom orders, quotations to be worked up, inquiries with regard to pending orders, respond to requests for samples and gather needed information for cost accounting. He/she will: log orders for credit approval and follow-up daily with Credit Dept., attach incoming confirmations to orders in file, and maintain open/closed files in an orderly fashion. Learn quoting of custom orders and calculation of raw materials to purchase to cover custom orders as well as scheduling of production for stock/custom runs. He/she will alert management & sales force as to the flow of pending orders/quotations. Must have good phone and speech skills, high school graduate or GED and 3-5 years Customer Service experience in a call center environment where goods are sold. Flexible packaging background a plus.
